1. Who we are

These Terms govern your use of the website operated under the trading name Sounds Great (the "Site").

Sounds Great is a sole-trader business and is not registered at Companies House. It is not VAT-registered (turnover below the UK VAT threshold). For any formal correspondence please use the address above.

2. Site status and scope

The Site currently operates as a showcase of records, guitars, amplifiers, accessories, and other items available for purchase in person at our Isle of Wight shop. Online ordering and online payment are not enabled at this time. When online ordering becomes available, these Terms will be updated to include sales-specific provisions (delivery, returns, refunds), and you will be asked to accept the updated Terms at checkout.

3. Acceptable use

You may browse the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract content for purposes other than personal use;
Use the Site to send unsolicited communications or attempt to gain unauthorised access;
Misrepresent the availability, price, or condition of any item shown on the Site.

4. Item descriptions and condition grading

Records, instruments, and other items are second-hand. Condition grades displayed on the Site (NM = Near Mint, VG = Very Good, P = Poor) reflect our reasonable judgement at the time of listing and are intended as a guide. Photographs are of the actual item where possible but colour and detail may differ on your screen. If you intend to purchase, we recommend confirming condition with us by phone or email before travelling.

5. Pricing and availability

Prices are shown in GBP (£). Items marked POA ("Price on Application") have no price displayed and must be enquired about. Because items are one-of-a-kind, listings may be removed without notice when an item is sold in store.

6. Intellectual property

The Site design, text, photographs, and "Sounds Great" branding are owned by us or used with permission. Album cover art, manufacturer logos, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and are shown solely to identify second-hand stock for sale.

7. Disclaimer and your statutory rights

The Site is provided "as is". We do our best to keep listings accurate but make no warranty that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that information shown is complete.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you have as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, or other non-excludable UK consumer protection law. To the extent of any conflict between these Terms and those statutory rights, your statutory rights prevail.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
